After her third Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Week selection in four weeks, junior Katharina Ohmen of the No. 6 field hockey program has been named this week's Fuddrucker's Female Athlete of the Week.

Ohmen began the week with a 10-save shutout in a 3-0 victory on the road against Franklin Pierce, on Tuesday, Sept. 18, which was arguably her best performance of the year. The shutout became her third of the season and second straight. She followed up the shutout with another impressive game against American International as she led the Warriors to a 6-1 victory at home. Ohmen currently ranks No. 4 in the NE10 in saves (36) and currently ranks No. 1 in the nation in save percentage (.878).

Ohmen and the rest of the Warriors will return to action on Saturday Sept. 29, when Merrimack travels to Connecticut to play New Haven at 7 p.m.
