NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The No. 4 Merrimack College men's lacrosse team will aim for its season-high fourth straight victory when it travels to take on American International College on Saturday (March 30). Game time from Abdow Field is set for 5 p.m.

Five Things to Know:
  • Merrimack is coming off back-to-back wins, most recently against Bentley at home on Wednesday. A seven-goal first quarter set the tone early on the way to an eventual 16-12 victory. Sophomore Sean Black had a career-high 10-point outing in that win, finishing with six goals and four assists for his best outing as a Warrior.
  • Recording no fewer than 12 goals in any game this season, Merrimack owns the NE10's second-best scoring offense (and the country's fifth-best), averaging 16.83 goals per game. They also boast the nation's fifth-ranked man-up offense that converts at 44.4 percent.
  • Junior Charlie Bertrand continues to back up his status as one of the nation's best overall players with a team-leading 48 points on the strength of 35 goals and 13 assists in only six games. He leads the country in points per game (8.00) and goals per game (5.83), while Black ranks seventh nationally in assists per game (2.83) and eighth in scoring average (5.67).
  • Merrimack has won 19 straight games at home, the longest active home winning streak in the country. The last time the Warriors lost a game at home was on March 18, 2017. The Warriors have also won 14 straight against NE10 foes, the longest active streak in the NE10 and third-longest conference winning streak nationally.
  • The Warriors have also taken care of the ball well, as indicated by their nation-low 12.17 turnovers per game and an 82.7-percent clearing percentage.
  • Merrimack has never lost against AIC in 22 tries, most recently by a 17-4 score last year at home. Quinn Caesar leads the Yellow Jackets with 16 points (14g, 2a), while Stephen Stratton has started seven of 10 games in net.
