NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's and women's track and field teams earned outstanding results at the elite BU John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston last weekend.

Weekend Highlights:
- Freshman Jolon O'Connor finished eighth in the 60m dash at 7.16 before finishing 21st of nearly 200 competitors in the 200m dash at 21.91.
- Henry Osei took sixth in the 60m dash invitational qualifiers before finishing eighth in the event finals at 7.05.
- Senior Eric Rosario commanded once again in the 400m dash, finishing fourth at 48.45.
- Dan Lovell took the Warriors top finish in the 500m dash at 1:06.44, good for third amongst NEC schools, he was followed by freshman Colin Rahaman at 1:07.60.
- In the mile run, TJ Corliss led the group at 4:15.37 and was followed by Noah Davis and Ryan Gamelin.
- The distance medley team of Noah Davis, Eric Rosario, Ryan Sullivan and TJ Corliss finished in seventh at 10:09.48.
- Alexandra DiPerri finished 29 in the 60m dash at 8.38.
- Emma Faivre led the pack in the 200m dash for the Warriors, with Hannah Link, Berlindah Dure, Allee Purcell, Taylor Budney and Caitlin Whitman finishing behind her.
- Faivre and Purcell were also Merrimack's top finishers in the 400m dash.
- Kathryn Sullivan and Skyler Bomba finished as the Warriors top finishers in the 60m hurdles.
Up Next:
Qualifying team members will compete at the New England Championship at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2, while other members of the team will race at the Wesleyan Invitational on Feb. 1.
