NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's and women's track and field squads sent select members to compete in New England's elite David Hemery Valentine's Invitational at Boston University over the weekend, to stellar results.

Weekend Highlights:
- For the women, all participants had a season or all-time best finish in their respective events.
- In the 200m, Berlendah Dure ran her season best at 26.56, with Taylor Budney setting a PR in the event at 26.94.
- Three runners set PRs in the 400m, as Emma Faivre finished at 59.49, Allee Purcell at 1:00.64 and Ellison Seymour at 1:06.61.
- Samantha LiPetri moved into third on the program leaderboard in the 800m, as she set a PR at 2:18.80.
- In the mile run, Julia Dempsey set a PR in 5:12.61 to move to number two in program history in the event.
- Sophomore Ellison Seymour set a personal best in the 60m hurdles at 10.01.
- For the men, Eric Rosario had a strong showing in the 400m at 49.96.
- Freshman Colin Rahaman ran a PR in the 500m at 1:06.92 to take fifth place in the record books for the event.
- In the 800m, Dylan Kehoe moved into fourth place in the program standings in the event, with Ryan Sullivan taking fifth in the record books at 1:57.59.
- Sophomore James Bull ran a PR in the 3000m at 8:57.07.

The Warriors will head to Staten Island, NY to compete in the NEC Championships on February 21 and 22 at the Ocean Breeze Park and Athletic Complex.
