Minneapolis, Minn-- The Hockey Humanitarian Award Foundation today nominated
Raice Szott as one of the announced it's 18 nominees for the 2024 Hockey Humanitarian Award. The award, which is celebrating its 29
th season, is presented annually to college hockey's finest citizen – a student-athlete who makes significant contributions not only to her team but also to the community through leadership in volunteerism. This is the second consecutive season in which Szott has been nominated for the award and she is one of three players on this year's list to be nominated multiple years.
Szott, a senior defender who hails from Daysland, Alberta, was recently named as Hockey East Defender of the Week for her performance against Holy Cross last Saturday, and also passed her 100
th game in Warriors uniform this month as well.
Finalists for the 2024 Hockey Humanitarian Award will be announced in February. The 2024 recipient will be announced on Friday, April 12th during the NCAA Men's Frozen Four weekend in St. Paul, Minn.
