Jack Salva is racking up the points and the awards are coming along with it.
Salva on Monday was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Offensive Player of the Week as well as the Rookie of the Week. It followed a March 30-April 5 stretch when Salva recorded six points (four goals, two assists) in a down-to-the-wire win over Manhattan.
The recognition from the conference comes one week after Salva was named a First Team honoree for a New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) weekly award.
Salva leads the Warriors with 29 points scored (19 goals, 10 assists) in 12 games this season.
