After notching a hat trick against RPI on Saturday night, sophomore forward Chase Gresock of the men's ice hockey program has been named this week's Fuddruckers Male Athlete of the Week.

Gresock tallied his second multi-point game of season while bringing his goal total to five on the season, tying fellow captain Tyler Irvine for the team lead. Gresock scored Merrimack's second goal of the first period while adding two second-period strikes that enabled Merrimack to build an insurmountable advantage over the Engineers. He posted the program's first hat trick since 2017, as well. 

The Warriors resume play this weekend with a home-and-home set with the University of New Hampshire, traveling to the Wildcats on Friday night before hosting UNH at Lawler Rink on Saturday.
