Junior forward Katelyn Rae of the women's ice hockey team has been named this week's Fuddruckers Female Athlete of the Week, after scoring a pair of goals against Connecticut on Jan. 5.

Rae extended her point streak to five games, scoring early against the Huskies to give her team a 1-0 lead early in the first period. After Connecticut tied the game early in the third period, Rae scored the game-winner on a power play goal with under five minutes left to lift the Warriors to a 2-1 win.

Rae leads the team with 14 points and 10 goals through 23 games.Rae and the rest of the Warriors return to action with two games this week, beginning tomorrow night at Lawler Rink against New Hampshire.
