Junior Michaela Pernell of the Merrimack College women's track & field program has been named Fuddrucker's Female Athlete of the Week after being crowned Northeast-10 Conference Championship in two events at the NE10 Indoor Championships this past weekend.

Pernell won the 60m dash with a time of 7.59 seconds, before winning the 200m dash in 24.67 seconds. Both times were NCAA Division II Championship provisional qualifiers, where she currently sits fifth in both events. For her performance at the NE10 Championships, Pernell was named Most Outstanding Track Performer at the meet.

Pernell and the rest of the Warriors will compete in the Last Chance race at Boston University this upcoming weekend.
