Senior Lucas Rezende (Weymouth, Mass) of the Merrimack College men's soccer team has been named this week's Fuddruckers Male Athlete of the Week.

The senior keeper registered a pair of shutouts the first against Stonehill on Tuesday, with the second coming versus Le Moyne on Saturday. Against the Skyhawks, Rezende had a season-high six saves, while stopping four against the Dolphins.

Rezende currently leads all NE10 keepers with five shutouts in conference play, along with seven overall this season. His 0.48 goals-against-average sits third in league play as well.

Rezende and the rest of the Warriors head to Albany, New York on Saturday, Oct. 7 for NE10 action against Saint Rose. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
