After no-hitting the Sacred Heart University Pioneers last week and being named the national Golden Spikes Award Performance of the Week winner, Riley Sorenson of the Merrimack College baseball team has been named this week's Dunkin Athlete of the Week.

Soreson threw the first no-hitter in the baseball program's Division I history on Friday, defeating Sacred Heart in a 2-1 game on Friday. The no-hitter was the eighth in Division I this season, and saw Sorenson retire the final 17 batters he faced. The right-hander set a single-game career high with eight strikeouts and recorded his fourth victory of the season. He lowered his season ERA to 2.59 after the performance.
